Why do some human beings have a dilemma with tension and others do not?

This is a confusion almost everyone who lives with angst asks themselves at some point or another. How come me?

My understanding of dread is that yes, some human beings seem more impressionable than others but that the key trigger tends to be exhaustion. By burnout I mean cerebral, bodily, or emotional exhaustion. (Under physical exhaustion I also include things like grubbery or substance abuse)

For some it may be burnout caused by a hectic life and never taking time to release the agony. People like that often do not notice their anxiety levels are so high until they get blindsided by a spontaneous agitation attack.

For others it may be an emotional prostration caused by the loss of a loved one or the break up of a long term relationship.

If the angst is caused by a frightful/frightening life act it is interesting to note that the person frequently does not experience the dread until the event has passed.


You often see people dealing very well with a crisis but then several weeks later when the dust has settled they start to feel the apprehension. It is like they have been in shock and are only now starting to process the experience.

The most consequential thing to remember about consternation attacks or general anxiety is that aid is available and it is significant to get abet sooner rather than later.
